this is an ok mp3 player. it has a tenancy to lock up and freeze during playing. making it a little troublesome, but it is lightweight and good sound quality.

great mp3 player! much better than nano because of more memory and it looks cooler. it does have a tendency to freeze sometimes but ahh the rest of the pros make up for the little cons. the power/transfer cord is the same which can confuse me sometimes but its all good. GREAT DEAL!!!

The MP3 is great and all, I love it, I do, and it had been at one point that it would never freeze on me. Then after a few months of having it, it started to freeze more and more. Just yesterday it froze up on me, and I left it sitting on my desk. When I returned, the battery had died, so I tried to recharge it and left. But upon returning once again, I noticed the player was on to the opening screen, the backlight was on, and it said Philips.
The backlight shouldn’t be on, because I had left it for longer than an hour. And Philips shouldn’t be on the screen, the little battery filling and refilling should’ve been. It’s a head scratcher.
It still does that when I try to charge it up, it won’t stop, it won’t let me get into it via the computer, it won’t let me turn it on. It’s just dead and when I charge it up, that stupid Philips title screen comes on.
If there’s any website where I can find how to unlock it, it’d be nice, cause I have to go on a trip soon, and it’d be nice to listen to my music rather than the old country blues my parents love to listen to.

A great MP3 player but the only problem is that he is recognizable by windows even if they say that winXP can recognize it easily
