A Closer Look on iRiver H10 Jr
July 14th, 2005 by Chi An
Wonder what is inside the iRiver H10 Junior? There are some pictures posted at Chinese MP3 forum. These pictures showed that iRiver has made some changes on the decoder they use. It’s not Philips but Samsung’s chip inside the H10 Junior!
Wow, what a pretty babe! But we gonna take a look piece by piece.

Love the easy navigation of H10 Jr (or H10). Here’s the secret of it, the Touch Scroll.
Reserved place for another 1GB flash memory module?
Here is the core of H10 Jr. The Samsung’s ARM decoder!
It seems that more and more iRiver products will be featured with Samsung’s chip. Is it better than Philips’ chip? Or it is cheaper than Philips one? Hopefully someone can make a detailed review on it.

Samsung makes world’s best memory chips.
They were the first one to make 1GB memory chip.
Also they know how to save the energy, and that’s why Samsung’s mp3 players play up to 45 hours and iPods r around 14 hours.

I’ve got one of these. It’s a red 1GB. I love how simple it is to navigate through everything and, above all else, it’s so small!
