Another big thing in Apple Special Event yesterday is the introducing of iPod Nano. iPod Mini was phased out and replaced by the new iPod Nano. Nonetheless, it proved the rumors that iPod Mini to feature flash memory and color display. However, the storage capacity is much more smaller, 2GB and 4GB.

The new iPod Nano fetures a 1.5″ color LCD with LED backlight that supports image slideshows. Other features are:

• Supports AAC, Protected AAC, MP3, MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3 and 4), Apple Lossless, WAV, AIFF
• Up to 14 hours of music playback; up to 4 hours of slideshows with music
• Available in black and white colors
• Dimension: 3.5 x 1.6 x 0.27 inches
• Weight: 1.5 ounces

The Apple Store prices of iPod Nano are US$199 and US$249 for 2GB and 4GB respectively.
