iRiver has a brilliant strategy against Apple in Japan. It will release U10 Bae Yong Joon Special Edition exclusively in Japan on middle of September. Basically, its specification remains same as normal U10 512MB. This special edition has:
- start up and still images of Bae Yong Joon
- greeting of “good afternoon” when swiches on
- good morning” when using alarm clock function
- Bae Yong Joon’s signature on the back

The terrible Hurricane Katrina is suffering the people of New Orlean! The city is unorderred now. Hundreds of police have been taken off search-and-rescue duties in the flooded city to counter looters who seized control of the streets, raided shops and held up car drivers at gunpoint. Meanwhile, hundreds of stranded people have gathered on the streets near the city’s convention centre, apparently still awaiting emergency assistance. There is no exact figure of the number of people left in the city, but it is thought it could be between 50,000 and 100,000.

Samsung Techwin has announced that it plans to release four new digital camera models, which is including the “#1 MP3“.
“#1 MP3″ is an enhanced version of #1 and it can play mp3 files, music video, and music slide show. The suggested price for “#1 MP3″ is 400,000 Won (approx US$386).
