Are you the owner of Sony NW-E40x/E50x? Here are two screensavers for your gadgets! But please make sure you have the correct version of firmware on your network walkman. The screensavers only work with firmware version 2.00!

How to check firmware version of Sony NW-E40X/E50X?

1. Hold SEARCH/MENU on idle mode for menu selection
2. Select Advanced Menu
3. Select Information
4. Select forth option, the firmware version will be displayed on screen.

How to install screesaver for Sony NW-E40X/E50X?

1. Connect your network walkman to PC. It will be appeared as removable disk in Windows.
2. Create a folder named NWWM-SCR (cannot be changed). Skip if the folder exists.
3. Copy the downloaded screensaver into the folder. (Note: only 1 file allowed)
4. Disoonnect the network walkman from PC.
5. Hold SEARCH/MENU button on idle mode for menu selection
6. Select Display Screen
7. Select and check the screensaver (either Aquarium or Stardust). While playing music, you may press DISP to select display mode.
