Apple’s One More Thing event is helding at San Jose, California now. While you and me are not able to be there, iLounge.com is very generous to provide live (failed, due to poor cellular coverage at the event venue) coverage of the event San Jose.

From this familiar silhouette posters, we clearly know that the new iPod has larger display screen, probably 2.4″ x 2.6″. iLounge.com also noted a small change on the position of headphone jack, from top center to the top right side of iPod.

New iPod that features video playback announced together with iTunes 6.0, reported by Engadget and iLounge:

The new iPod will feature video playback capabilities, 2.5-inch display, 320 x 240 resolution, MPEG-4 support, and video out. 30GB model is 31% thinner than current 20GB, 60GB is 12% thinner than old 20GB. New software features (World clock, stopwatch and screen lock). Will be available in 30GB and 60GB versions in white and black for $299 and $399 together with carrying case, respectively. iTunes 6.0 will also feature video and the iTunes Music Store will feature Fairplay DRMed video downloads.

At launch over 2,000 music videos will be made available at a cost of $1.99 apiece. You can download iTunes 6.0 starting today.
