While a lot of China manufacturers imitate others’ design, some of them is trying to prove their ability with their own design. Picture below is upcoming PMP of SVA – HM1000, which is patented.
HM1000 is powered by a 200Mhz DSP and 64MB SDRAM. The DSP (SD7001cb) is developed by SVA’s engineers. It is speculated to have 20GB of storage capacity with CF card supported. According to the source, HM1000 supports playback of real media(RM/RMVB) video!

While US people are waiting for the arival of iRiver U10 in November, someone had already dissected it! Chinese fan site, iRiverFans disclose some pictures of the core components of U10.
U10 is also using new Samsung ARM as its audio processing unit. However, it is not SA58450X01 as in T10, it is SA58450X03. The NAND flash memory is also made by Samsung (K4S561632E—TL75)
