Japanese Sony Style recently released NW-A608/SI Winter Special Package for upcoming Christmas. It is a special edition of NW-A608 Network Walkman. Sony Style has made some minor changes on its casing and packaging to fit Christmas theme.

MPIO recently announced that its latest MP3 player, FY700, will be released later this month. MPIO FY700 has applied Multi Level Cell (MLC) NAND flash in consumer market.

MLC technology may effectively double the capacity of flash memory and lower down the production cost. It seems to have more tough fight between Apple and Korean makers in future

Japanese Evergreen has made a minor changes on its DN-CCMP series MP3 players. 512MB version of DN-CCMP (DN-CCMP512) is now available in Evergreen online store at the price 6,980 Yen (approx US$60). Meanwhile, prices of 128MB and 256MB version are reduced by 1,000 Yen to 2,980 Yen (approx US$25) and 4,980 Yen (approx US$42) respectively.

DN-CCMP is the MP3 player that intergrated with headphone. It plays MP3 audio files at 16~256kbps bit rates. With built in li-on battery, it can play up to 10 hours continuosly.

Cowon Japan has just released a new model in their official website, called iAudio U2 Pro Tunes. U2 Pro Tunes is only available in Silver color and 1GB of storage capacity. Major specification is exactly same as a normal iAudio U2. U2 Pro Tunes has unique equlizer settings by four famous Japanese artists. Its position is similar as iPod U2 and iPod.
