Cowon iAudio G5

We did mention before that Cowon to make a replacement of iAudio G3. Well, it is not iAudio G4 as we expected. It is iAudio G5. The prototype of this model was spotted at CES 2006 Las Vegas last January. The design is same as its previous G3 but comes with a color display. It is also powered by an AA battery. However, it was cancelled in favor of the iAudio U3.

“Cancelled for favor of the U3″.
That sucks! We G3 users don’t want a U3 or we would’ve bought one already. We need the device to be powered by the AA-battery standard. We don’t want anything that charges via USB.
