Hitachi Introduces New MP3 Players

Hitachi has introduced new sub-brand for MP3 players, i.μ’s (Eye Muse) with 3 new models. The company announced that HMP-F3, HMP-D3 and HMP-S3(Y/W) will be available in late April. HMP-F3 and HMP-D3 are expected to be sale at 12,000 Yen (approx US$102) while HMP-S3 is 5,000 Yen (approx US$43).
Featueres of HMP-F3 and HMP-D3 are almost the same, which are as following:
- 512MB
- Supports MP3, WMA (DRM9 & 10), WAV audio
- Voice recorder
- powered by 1 x AAA battery
- 16 hours of battery life
However, HMP-F3 features line-in recording and 2 color organic EL display that HMP-D3 doesn’t carry. In the other hand, HMP-S3 is even plain in feature. It doesn’t come with built-in memory. It only plays MP3, WMA (DRM9) audio in your SD card.
