Sony Europe Unveils New Network Walkman

We have just seen the new CE-P series MP3 player by Sony China. Now, Sony Europe unveills new addition to their Walkman series, which is NWA-00x series that disclosed before. It is Sony’s low end solution that may compete with Apple’s iPod Shuffle. The new Walkman will be available from the end of April 2006 across Europe.

- 512MB, 1GB, 2GB
- ATRAC, MP3 and WMA (non DRM) compatible
- 5-band Equalizer
- FM Tuner with MHz range from 87.5 – 108.0 (optional on 1GB and 512MB players)
- 1 line dot matrix organic LED
- Available in 6 colours (pink, violet, blue, silver, black and lime green)
- Rechargeable battery with stamina of 28 hours during continuous playback *
- Quick-charge feature: 3 hours battery life in just 3 minutes charging during continuous playback *
* Note – ATRAC @ 132kbps at Super power save mode
