Cowon Releases iAudio T2

It is about 6 months since Cowon introduced its iAudio 6. There are some noises on what will Cowon make after iAudio 6, either iAudio X7 or Cowon A3. Nevertheless, Cowon suprises us today by introducing its new series of MP3 player, iAudio T2 (or better known as Take Two).

It is clearly that iAudio T2 to compete with iRiver N12 and MPIO FL350. As other Cowon products, it also comes with several sound enhancement, such as BBE, Mach3Bass, MP Enhance, and 3D Surround effects.

A Sneak Peak at RAmos V100

Picture above shows an engineering sample of upcoming RAmos V100 PMP that features a 2.5″ low-temperature poly-silicon TFT LCD display. V100 is also the first flash-based PMP to play Real Media video. Besides, it also plays flash movie and comes with NES emulator.

Onda VX939 Plays APE!

Most of the digital audio player nowadays only plays lossy audio such as MP3, WMA, OGG and so on. Very few of them plays FLAC lossless audio such as iAudio. Today, China-based Onda announced that its VX939 series to be first model to play Monkey’s Audio (.APE) audio through firmware update.

To play APE audio, Onda VX939 owner has to upgrade its firmware to version 1.8. New firmware can be downloaded here.
