Most of the digital audio player nowadays only plays lossy audio such as MP3, WMA, OGG and so on. Very few of them plays FLAC lossless audio such as iAudio. Today, China-based Onda announced that its VX939 series to be first model to play Monkey’s Audio (.APE) audio through firmware update.

To play APE audio, Onda VX939 owner has to upgrade its firmware to version 1.8. New firmware can be downloaded here.
