MobiBlu Boxon Digital Audio Player

This is the MobiBlu Boxon that unveiled early this month. The most eye-catching feature is not its VOIP compatibility, but its weird arrangement of the navigation buttons. All buttons are invisible from front panel. They are located at the top and back panel of this digital audio player. With this arrangement, you can operate the Boxon with just one finger!

The MobiBlu Boxon is designed by a Korean company, Corallo. Below are some conceptual models designed by this company for Hyunwon Mobiblu. Could these models be real?

Yoto T-21

What do you expect of an MP3 player worth US$50? A cloned iPod? Definitely not. With only RMB399 (approx US$50), you can have the new 1GB Yoto T-21.

Although Yoto T-21 is cheap in price but it doesn’t mean that it has to be cheap in quality. The new T-21 features a big screen with QVGA resolution. It is powered by the RK2608 DSP, the new Rockchip RISC chip. It supports AVI playback upto 30fps at QVGA resolution. With a firmware upgrade, the chip also capable to play other media such as flash and games. All these are more than US$50 worth.

If you are not a big brand followers, it should meet your needs within budget ;)

Meizu Miniplayer 2 and Music Card?

Forget about the Miniplayer clone. There is a rumor says that Meizu to make new version of Miniplayer, called Miniplayer 2. It is expected to have 2.6″ LCD display, and runs Windows CE on its 533Mhz core.

Besides, Meizu also plans to introduce the new Music Card (M3), which is a cut-down version of Miniplayer without video playback function. The Music Card will have 1.3″ OLED display instead of 2.4″ QVGA LCD. The Music Card will not comes with FM tuner built-in. All these cut-down has made it to have thickness of 6.9mm!

The ‘mini’ Miniplayer?

Is Meizu making its Miniplayer smaller? No! Let see properly. It is the new Zino 810 which hass similar design with Meizu’s Miniplayer but in smaller dimension. It sizes 74mm x 48mm x 9.3mm and weights only 40g. From the given specification, it is most likely based on the new Rockchip solution.

We have MSC Dino A that cloned iPod Nano. And now, we have Zino that ripoff Miniplayer!
