Unpacking Insignia 4GB Video MP3 Player

I’ve just received the Insignia 4GB Video MP3 Player few days ago and I got it unpacked today. This is the sample unit to be reviewed by The MP3 Players, for the first time
Let see what’s inside the package after the jump!
Taadaa, here is it!

These are the major components within the package:
- 4GB MP3 Player
- Earbud headphones
- Rechargeable lithium ion battery
- USB Cable for data transfer, and battery charging
- CD software
- Plus a plastic holder, two-month Bestbuy DigitalMusicStore and Rhapsody unlimtied access, $2 off on Bestbuy CD and one Audible download
One thing surprised me on the first sight is it is powered by a replaceable battery. It means replacing the battery can be as easy as your mobile phones. It is common problem for most of the MP3 player. It would be better if it comes with a Bluetooth headphones since it does support it. By the way, it is a value buy at price $160 with these specification
The specification:
- 4GB flash memory
- 2.2″ QVGA LCD display
- Dimension 4″ x 1.81″ x 0.55″, weight 2.4oz
- Supports MP3, WMA, Audible audio
- Supports AVI video
- Built-in FM tuner with 20 presets
- Supports Bluetooth-enabled headphones
- MicroSD expansion slot for additional capacity
- Up to 20 hours battery life

Turning on Insignia, and the review is coming soon… Stay tuned with us!

How do you sync the Insignia with iTunes. I’ve tried just about everything and it wont work. I cant even copy my iTunes library into the software the Insignia comes with

If you have the most current version of I-tunes your music files are in M4A format and this player will not play M4A as the player thinks that they are movies. No solution found for this.

Can I put a movie and play it on this MP3 player and if so how? Lost my user manual, but it does say it has video capabilities.
