Some said BENQ to exit from MP3 player industry. But it denied by releasing new products. Now, BENQ is going to bring us something more weird. It’s BENQ P610.

P210 is more than just a portable speaker. It has most of the features that a typical MP3 player has, except the memory storage. It comes with built-in digital audio decoder and USB Host. With an USB thumbdrive plugged in, it can be a MP3 player. It does play music inside the flash drive. It is expected to be released on 10th February 2006. However, the exact specification and pricing are still unknown yet. Stay tuned!

Apple Announces iPod Radio Remote
Jan 11, 2006 Accessories, Apple
Apple has just announced its iPod Radio Remote at Macworld 2006. It is a wired remote playback control for iPod Nano and iPod 5G. Besides, the remote also offers FM tuner functionality. Its suggested retail price is $49, same price range with a Griffin iFM but with less features.
The iPod Radio Remote supports FM stations from 87.5 to 107.9MHz (in both the US and European standards) and 76 to 90MHz (the Japanese standard). You can switch between the different standards when traveling.

It seems that FM radio doesn’t matter to Steve Jobs. You probably won’t see future iPod with built-in FM tuner. Why don’t we just buy a Creative’s Zen Vision:M that has all the features!
