There was a guess about Cowon A2 replacement. But it was a photoshoped mock up. Now the real replacement is here, Cowon N2. It is released as Cowon’s plan to replace A2, iAudio F1 and iAudio X5 before the upcoming Christmas. The new N2 is an PMP with DMB and GPS built-in.

The N of the new model is probably stand for Navigation as it comes with GPS module built-in. It is powered by AMD Alchemy 500MHz processor, 32MB flash, 128MB DDR2 RAM and 7″ WQVGA TFT LCD. It is run on Windows CE 5.0. The GPS module is based on SiRF lll chip that supports MXC map. The built-in DMB also enables it to receive major Korean DMB and DAB channels.
