Though iRiver P10 was introduced during the CES 2008 this January, it seems that not ready to be launched yet. However, one of the reader of China-based iMP3 manage to get one sample to play with it. This is an engineering sample with the buggy firmware version 0.9.
Generally, the reporter quite satisfy with it, especially on its big 4″ display! One thing to be dissapointed is its battery life. During the testing, it could only plays video up to 4 hours continuosly.
Still, no idea on when will it be available!

iRiver Japan has introduced the company new line-up, Mplayer Season 2. The new Mickey Mouse features 1GB of memory and comes with 10 new colors. It will be available from 11th April 2008 and suggested price is 7980 Yen (approx US$79).

The Chinese iRiver’s fan site, iRiverfans, reported that the new iRiver E100 will be available soon. It is expected to be launched on mid of this March in Korea. There are some changes of this new E100 since the CES 2008. This is the first time iRiver brings FLAC lossless audio to its product. Besides, the new E100 also supports Xvid video and PNG image.

It is soon to come to the Chinese New Year, which is the Year of Mouse. Hence, iRiver China introduces a limited edition of gold plated iRiver Mplayer, and only available at China. Each of these luxury mice comes with a lucky number, probably an alternative way to celebrate the Year of Mouse
