October 1st, 2005 by Chi An

Looking for digital audio player for your kids? If you think that your kids are too young to operate an iPod, then the Disney Mix Stick is suitable for them! Disney just announced their latest portable audio player, Disney Mix Stick for preteen consumer. It comes with four styles, which are Disney Chrome, Forever Princess, Sassy Pixie and That’s So Raven.

Basically it looks like an cute iPod Shuffle with a really small display. Its storage capacity is lesses than major DAPs, just 128MB for about 60 songs. But it should be enough for a kid’s need. However, it does include an SD/MMC card slot that supports up to 1GB of storage. With this feature, the user may play Disney’s Mix Clips, the memory card with prerecorded music from Walt Disney Records.

Still remember Dyne Tuny 8 that we mentioned before? in China, it is rebranded to Cube T8. Coincidently, Cube T8 is similar to iPod Nano in both design and functionality.

Cube T8 was introduced as Dyne Tuny 8 before Apple launched iPod Nano. Unfortunately, Tuny 8 do not get too much attention from the public. The design of these two models is similar to each other. They have similar size where iPod Nano is 89×40x7 mm and Cube T8 is 75×37x14.2 mm. Both of them are available in black and white color.

The Mini Woodi CA-F180

September 5th, 2005 by Chi An

Korean website, MPnavi has published some pictures of the upcoming flash-based MP3 player, Woodi CA-F180. My first impression is that this is a mini version of iRiver iFP180TC. CA-F180 is much more smaller than the iFP100 series, where it is just slight bigger than a human thumb! There is no any detailed specification about it.
