You probably seldom heard of Truly’s MP3 players. It is more well known to OEM BenQ‘s Joybee series. The company recently released a low-end FD102 with colorful cases. The colorful FD102 is built on SigmaTel’s STMP35xx solution. It features:
- White OLED display
- MP3, WMA, WAV audio playback
- built-in FM tuner with 30 presets
- USB 2.0 Full Speed
- SRS WOW supported

Sony CE-P Uses ALi Solution

The new Sony CE-P series was speculated to be based on SigmaTel’s solution as it is manufactured by A-MAX, who has strategic partnership with SigmaTel. However, a member of iMP3 has discovered that it is powered by ALi M5661 solution. It is rare to see an ALi-powered MP3 player in the market, only Newman A50 found.

mobiBLU B153 Reviewed

Hyunwon named their mobiBLU DAH-1900 as B153 simply because its extreme long battery life. The company claims that it has the world longest battery life, which is 153 hours. Because of that, iMP3 did three detailed tests, which from 21st March 2006 to 9th April 2006. The results prove that mobiBLU B153 can even play more than 153 hours! The tests were run with OLED display switched off, 128kbps MP3, and normal EQ. The results are as follow:
- 21st March, 10am to 26th March, 10pm – 132 hours played
- 27st March, 9am to 2nd April, 2pm – 160 hours played
- 3rd April, 9am to 9th April, 10pm – 157 hours played

iRiver E10 Announced

iRiver E10 is finally announced, just look like the photos leaked previously! iRiver announced that the company will release the new mini-HDD Jukebox at Korean, in 28th April 2006.
Full specification of new iRiver E10 is still unknown yet. However, it is almost same as we expected. It features a 6GB mini-HDD, 1.5″ TFT LCD display and D-Navi buttons. Other features includes FM radio, video format, Flash game, voice recorder, image viewer and also as a TV remote controller with infrared interface. It is stated that capable to play 32 hours continously once fully charged!
The suggested retail price for E10 is 240,000 Won (approx $240).

BenQ Launches New Joybee Series

BenQ, in a press conference on 11th April, announced that the company is going to add 6 new products into their Joybee series. These products introduced during the event are: E520, ET50, EG10, E105, N370, and P610. According to the company, two of these products will be available before 1st May and the others will be available in Q3 this year.
BenQ Joybee E520
E520 is an MP3 player that built-in with Bluetooth module. It is compatible with other Bluetooth mobile phones and acts as Bluetooth headphones. When there is an incoming call, the music playback will be paused automatically. User may answer the call or hang up through E520. Joybee E520 also features a 65K colors OLED display. It supports MP3, WMA and also AMV playback.
