iMP3 recently received the new Yoto MVP-800 to be reviewed. Though it looks dummy, it still comes with a 2.8″ QVGA display, replaceable Li-on battery (which compatible with Samsung mobile phones), and support external TF memory extension.
Yoto MVP-800 is powered by Rockchip RK2608A solution with WOLFSON WM8750 for audio processing. More importantly, it is cheap as other Yoto’s MP3 players! The price of Yoto MVP-800 2GB is available at only RMB399 ($53).

Sony Japan is going to make its NW-808 8GB Walkman available in white and pink colors from 10th July. It is expected to be priced at 32,800 Yen (approx US$266).
It is capable to playback MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video @ 30fps on its 2″ QVGA display. For audio playback, it supports ATRAC3/ATRAC3plus and MP3/WMA/AAC but no WMA/AAC DRM. Like other Sony’s Walkman, it has an extra long battery life. For a 3-hour charge, it can playback up to 30 hours of audio or 8 hours of video.

We did report that Hacha PA20 will be soon released, with a large 3.2″ touch screen. It is really big move that bring touch screen into DAP. Though the launching date is yet unknown, our friends at iMP3 manage to get some snapshots on the real piece. Looks cool huh? I wish I can get one for myself soon

While 2.4″ color display seems to be standard size for most DAP, a large screen doesn’t seem attractive for most people. How about a large touch screen for your DAP? Lucky Chinese will able to get one soon. China-based is going to released a new DAP, PA20 with 3.2″ touch screen!
Well, no official word on when will it be released, but very soon.
