Kenwood Japan recently introduced its new MEDIA Keg MP3 player, the MG-F500 series in this coming December. 3 models are available in this coming December, which are MG-F504 (4GB), MG-F508 (8GB), MG-F516 (16GB). The new MG-F500 series supports microSD extension memory up to 16GB. It does plays MP3, WMA (DRM), AAC, and WAV audio files.

Retail prices are expected to be 12,ooo Yen (US$135), 15,000 Yen (US$168), and 18,000 Yen (US$200) for MG-F504, MG-508, MG-F516 respectively.

China-based Window (read, not Windows) recently introduce their new line-up G21. It features a 16:9 3″ screen with 400 x 240 pixel resolution. It supports playback for RM/RMVB, MPEG4(AVI), WMV, FLV videos; MP3, WMA, ACC audio, and FLAC, APE lossless audio. It also supports Microsoft’s PlayFX audio enhancement.

UI is the most impressive part for Window G21. The company names it as G-Sensor. It is some sort of force feedback thingy. The UI will flip as you flip the player. The player will vibrate as you press on its button. Worth to try for just $44

This is a credit card sized MP3 player made by some Japanese brand. It has a OLED display with dimension of 85 x 54 mm. It’s thinnest part is about 3mm. If not because of the 3.5mm audio jack, I won’t realize it is actually not a credit card. It’s really thin huh?!

Korean Atree recently introduced the new MP3 player, Red Eye J2. The Red Eye is actually its navigation joystick, which flashes the red light when being operated. It features a 2.4″ TFT display with 240 x 320 pixel. It also supports Flash Lite 3.04 with max 3MB size for each swf movie. This is the first hand experience of iMP3 member on his new Ainol V6000HDA. The so-called HD PMP is not really HD actually. The 4.3″ screen display at 800 * 480 resolution, a weird 15:9 ratio. Playback for RMVB and FLV is fine, but it’s terrible when comes to AVI movie. Most of the AVI movie can’t even be loaded. Its plastic casing is just as good as a thumbprint scanner. Audio is basically below the par. Luckily, it’s not all bad. The TV-out is working fairly good when output the video signal to a 16:9 CRT television.
