The first Rockchip-based model, RAmos RM100 is getting more attention due to it’s high cost/performance ratio. It is definitely a steal to get a RM100 512MB with 2″ TFT LCD for just RMB499 (approx US$62).
iMP3 recently reviewed the RAmos RM100 and gave it a high mark which is overall 5/6. It has a solid case surface and does play XVID video smoothly @ 20fps on its 2″ screen. However, it does not come with built-in FM tuner.

We know that someone had successfully made SigmaTel to play video. Now, RAmos makes it better with its upcoming model, RM-950. It is built on SigmaTel STMP3520 and features an 1.8″ 260K OLED display. Its major features will be same as typical SigmaTel solution with extra video playback and image browsing capabilities.

Oh.. here is a shining goldish MP3 player from RAmos. It seems to be another rebranded Dyne Tuny8. This special edition of rebranded Tuny8 comes with a gold-plated case. However, there is no changes on major specification. It will be available in limited amount with storage capacity of 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB. The model is unknown yet and no pricing announced so far.
I don’t know you guys like it or not. But the gold-plated case is awful for me!
