When Reigncom first introduced the world smallest MP3 player - iRiver S10, many people were wonder what make it so tiny. Now the secret revealed, it is the new Samsung chip. It is a microcontroller unit that integrates both audio decoder and NAND flash in a single chip. Thus, it made the S10 so compact.

Samsung first Bluetooth-enable MP3 player, YP-T9, has just received approval from FCC (Federal Communications Commission). Thus, it is believed to be released soon.

Samsung is going to ship the new flash-based MP3 player, YP-Z5 this month. The company has added YP-Z5A (4GB) and YP-Z5Q (2GB) flash-based audio players to their US website. Both of them are available in black and silver color. The suggested retail prices are $199 and $249 for YP-Z5Q and YP-Z5A respectively.
Samsung YP-Z5 was first introduced at CES 2006 last January. It features an 1.8″ TFT display, MP3 / WMA / WMA-DRM10 / OGG audio playback, PlaysForSure subscription support, JPEG photo viewing / slideshow / wallpaper, DNSe 3D audio processing, and 35-hour battery life.

Samsung is making its F1 even more stylish by introducing new F1C MP3 player. All features remain unchanged as in previous Samsung F1. It still plays MP3, WMA, ASF and OGG audio with SRS WOW supported. The only difference is that Samsung F1C comes with three fancy cases!
