If you own an iAudio 6, you might probably not consider the new iAudio 7. It looks almost same as its predecessor, except the storage media and color display. The iAudio 7 is available in 4GB and 8GB of flash memory, and it features a 1.3″ TFT LCD display.
Finally, Cowon unveils its new iAudio F2 that we heard earlier! Well, the new F2 doesn’t have weird design as its predecessor. Yet, it is improved with some nice features like color screen, FLAC lossless audio, text and image browsing. Well, the maximum memory of 2GB is kinda dissappointing.
Specs:
1.3″ 262K color TFT LCD display
512MB, 1GB, 2GB
Supports MP3, OGG, WMA, ASF, FLAC, WAV audio
Image, text browsing
Built-in Lithium polymer battery, up to 22 hours battery life
It is about 6 months since Cowon introduced its iAudio 6. There are some noises on what will Cowon make after iAudio 6, either iAudio X7 or Cowon A3. Nevertheless, Cowon suprises us today by introducing its new series of MP3 player, iAudio T2 (or better known as Take Two).
It is clearly that iAudio T2 to compete with iRiver N12 and MPIO FL350. As other Cowon products, it also comes with several sound enhancement, such as BBE, Mach3Bass, MP Enhance, and 3D Surround effects.
We did mention before that Cowon to make a replacement of iAudio G3. Well, it is not iAudio G4 as we expected. It is iAudio G5. The prototype of this model was spotted at CES 2006 Las Vegas last January. The design is same as its previous G3 but comes with a color display. It is also powered by an AA battery. However, it was cancelled in favor of the iAudio U3.
