We have waited so long for Cowon iAudio 6 since it was first introduced at CES 2006 last January! There is still no news about its arrival
However, the lucky Korean guy has tested it and even dissected it! The editor of mpnavi is showing the tiny Toshiba’s 0.85″ MK4001MTD harddrive.

I guess you must agree that the hottest Cowon’s product must be its iAudio 6. Exact details of the iAudio 6 are still unknown yet. The only thing disclosed is that it features a 4GB 0.85″ MicroDrive and touch sensitive navigation control. The suggested price is estimated to be around $200 - $250.

DAPreview has captured some video demonstration of iAudio 6 during their visit to Cowon’s booth.

Finally the rumor of new iAudio products comes true! Cowon unveiled the first 0.85″ hard drive player, iAudio 6 before International CES 2006. The new iAudio features a 4GB 0.85″ HDD (which is expected to be Toshiba’s MK4001MTD), 1.3″ 260K colors OLED display, Swing Touch navigation and USB Host capability. iAudio 6 is speculated to come with attractive price tag, which is competitive with a iPod Nano 4GB.

Will Cowon introduce iAudio G4 and iAudio F2 also?

New Cowon iAudio models coming soon? I have heard that Cowon is going to release 3 new models, which are iAudio 6, iAudio G4 and iAudio F2 in Korea. The rumor said that iAudio F2 will be introduced within this month while iAudio 6 and iAudio G4 will be released some time before February 2006. With the models provided, it is clear that these players are going to replace current iAudio 5, G3 and F1.
I’m not sure how true is that rumor. Well, just wait and see.

We had watched the review video of Cowon A2 previously. Again, Minivian brought us another great review video of Cowon’s iAudio U3. It shows the detailed demonstration on every operation of iAudio U3.

Well, I must say Telechips TCC770 is really a superb solution for mini PMP. Although iAudio U3 has a tiny LCD display, you may still enjoy flawless video playback on it.
Beware - The review video is about 12 minutes long and its file size is 52MB! Take your time to enjoy it
