Sony finally decided to discontinue the production of Walkman Bean. The jellybean was critiqued since first introduced last August. However, the spokesperson hints that an upgrade could be on the way.
Sony Corp. will discontinue its Walkman Bean portable music players in April, less than six months after the colorful, kidney-shaped player hit the market, according to several UK media reports. The company confirmed the decision to UK newspapers The Telegraph and The Independent.

The member of iMP3.net, liuhua8882001 has claimed that he is the first person who bought a Sony NW-A3000 in Netherlands. He posted a dozen of pictures with a proof of purchase. He had made a comparison with his old NW-HD3. In short, A3000 has better sound quality over HD3, especially in bass.

Japanese Sony Style recently released NW-A608/SI Winter Special Package for upcoming Christmas. It is a special edition of NW-A608 Network Walkman. Sony Style has made some minor changes on its casing and packaging to fit Christmas theme.
