While US people are waiting for the arival of iRiver U10 in November, someone had already dissected it! Chinese fan site, iRiverFans disclose some pictures of the core components of U10.

U10 is also using new Samsung ARM as its audio processing unit. However, it is not SA58450X01 as in T10, it is SA58450X03. The NAND flash memory is also made by Samsung (K4S561632E—TL75)

I don’t whether iRiver has made an armband for its U10 just like Apple did to its iPod Nano. However, someone really made it. Joe is showing off his U10 with an armband. It looks cool when the thumbthing is binding on your arm. But it seems tiring if watching video clips like this!

New iPod is cool? I think iRiver U10 is much better than it! It is good to know that iRiver Hong Kong is going to release this thumbthing later this month. Together with this, iRiver Hong Kong has run a promotional campaign called U10 Click Play Debut until 31st October 2005. During this period, iRiver fans have a change to get an U10 for free, if they meet all 10 conditions listed by the company.
What the heck are these condition?

We knew that iRiver released its U10 in Korea on 2nd September. Now, this thumthing will be availalbe in European market very soon. Most probably it will be shipped out by Amazon Germany within 1 or 2 weeks. On the other hand, Amazon UK
accepts pre-order with shipping date on 26th September.
I don’t expect it will be available that soon. Most suprising me is that there is a 2GB version which not available in Korea and US temporarily. However, there is no 512MB version in Europe. Can’t wait to have this
thumbthing? Make your pre-order
